ATCO Frontec is seeking maintenance technicians to support the 24/7 camp operation at Artemis Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia. Technicians handle preventive and corrective maintenance involving plumbing, building repairs, minor HVAC work, inspections, and general camp upkeep. The position pays $30 per hour on a 14/14 rotation, with meals, accommodations, and site amenities provided free of charge. 3 or more years of experience in a similar position and setting Clean driver’s abstract Class 5 driver’s license Solid knowledge of safe work practices and procedures in maintenance operations Experience with time management in a 24/7 operation Ability to safely use a wide variety of hand and power tools and materials Basic computer skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Professional oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Ability to work well under pressure Effective problem-solving skills Ability to complete a pre-employment alcohol and drug test
