As an Environmental Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring environmental compliance, sustainability, and continuous improvement across all phases of the project, while supporting project teams in minimizing environmental impacts and meeting regulatory requirements. Concretely,yourtaskswillbe:
SupportedprojectteamsintheimplementationandcontinuousimprovementoftheEnvironmentalManagementSystem; Coordinatedenvironmentaldocumentation,permits,monitoringprograms,andregulatorycomplianceactivitieswithconsultants,designers,constructionteams,andstakeholders; Ledenvironmentalriskassessmentsduringdesignandconstructionphases,identifyingimpactsandimplementingmitigationmeasurestominimizeenvironmentalfootprint; Oversawenvironmentalmonitoringprograms(noise,vibration,dust,emissions,waterquality)andensuredcompliancewithprojectrequirementsandregulatorythresholds; Conductedsiteinspections,audits,trainingsessions,andawarenessprogramstopromoteenvironmentalbestpracticesandcomplianceacrosstheproject; Managedenvironmentalnon-conformities,correctiveactions,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives,ensuringeffectiveresolutionandcommunicationoflessonslearned; Actedastheprimaryenvironmentalpointofcontactonsite,supportingprojectmanagementwithenvironmentalreporting,reviews,presentations,andstakeholderengagement; ContributedtoQHSEperformancethroughparticipationinaudits,managementreviews,processimprovementinitiatives,andcross-functionalcoordination.
