Life is full of Bumps. Let’s move through them together.
At Bump, we’ve spent years building a clinic around the idea that people deserve thoughtful, connected care through pregnancy, postpartum and all the changes that come with it.
Now, we’d love to welcome Registered Midwifery into that community.
We’re looking for a Registered Midwife interested in providing full-scope midwifery care who would like to establish or grow their own practice from our New Westminster clinic.
A place to build your practice — without building a clinic from scratch
Maybe you’re newly registered and wondering where to begin.
Maybe you’ve been a locuming and are ready to build a caseload of your own.
Maybe you’re an experienced RM looking for a new clinical home or an opportunity to establish a presence in New Westminster.
Or maybe you have a vision for your own practice, but don’t particularly want to take on the lease, furnishing, clinic operations and administrative infrastructure that usually come with it.
That’s where we come in.
At Bump, you can maintain the independence of your own midwifery practice while working within an established multidisciplinary clinic already caring for prenatal and postpartum clients every day.
What’s already here
We want you to be able to spend your energy building your practice and caring for your clients — not worrying about setting up a clinic.
You’ll have access to:
- A fully furnished private clinical room with a sink
- Jane online booking and scheduling
- Clinic coordinator support for booking and schedule management
- Clinical supplies and storage
- Flexible scheduling and practice arrangements
- An established community of prenatal and postpartum clients
- Opportunities for collaboration and reciprocal referrals with Bump’s pelvic health and perinatal clinicians
- A convenient New Westminster location close to Sapperton SkyTrain Station
And, importantly, you’ll have people around you.
Bump is home to clinicians across pelvic health physiotherapy, massage therapy, kinesiology, clinical counselling and other areas of care. We believe some of the best care happens when great clinicians know one another, trust one another and can collaborate when it makes sense for the person in front of them.
Who might feel at home here?
- Is in positive standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives , or is eligible for BC registration
- Is interested in providing full-scope pregnancy, birth and postpartum midwifery care
Values evidence-informed, compassionate and person-centred care
- Enjoys being part of a collaborative clinical community while maintaining professional autonomy
- Wants to build something of their own, but doesn’t necessarily want to build it alone
Experienced RMs and new registrants are equally welcome to reach out.
More than a room
We’re not simply looking to fill an empty treatment room.
We’re looking for the right person to bring midwifery into the Bump Team and community.
Someone who wants the independence to build a practice that feels like their own, with the benefit of an established clinic, administrative infrastructure, referral relationships and a community of clinicians who already spend their days supporting people through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.
There’s room to shape what this looks like, and we’d genuinely love to hear what you would want your practice to become.
Curious?
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Come meet us, see the clinic and have a conversation about what building your midwifery practice at Bump Physio & Co. could look like.
