ISL is seeking a Structural Engineer-in-Training to join our Saskatoon team. Utilize your skills in commercial, municipal, and residential projects with a hybrid work model.
As a vital member of our Buildings and Structures team, you will have exposure to diverse building projects across Saskatchewan and beyond. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals and offers hands-on experience throughout the project lifecycle. You will contribute to structural designs, coordinate with various team members, and support in office construction efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed structural designs from concept to construction
• Assemble and review structural drawings and calculations
• Coordinate with architects and contractors on project needs
• Participate in project meetings to align on progress
• Complete construction administration through field reviews
Requirements:
• Degree in civil or structural engineering discipline
• Registration as Engineer-in-Training with APEGS
• Two years' experience in building structural design
• Knowledge of National Building Code and Canadian standards
• Familiarity with structural analysis software and MS Office
