As part of the Business Law Services team, you will assist in creating various corporate entities and preparing essential documents for transactions. Candidates with at least five years of relevant experience who are detail-oriented and proactive will excel in this billable position. You will also manage minute books, conduct due diligence, and interact directly with clients and lawyers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the formation of corporations and partnerships
• Prepare corporate documentation for transactions and amendments
• Maintain and organize corporate minute books
• Conduct due diligence searches for corporate records
• Billable time tracking and client file management
Requirements:
• Diploma from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience
• CORES Level III certification required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• In-depth knowledge of Alberta Business Corporations Act
