Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor / SolidWorks Designer & Estimator to join our team on a full time basis . The successful candidate will oversee production operations, prepare SolidWorks drawings, and generate accurate quotations for customers.
Key Responsibilities Supervise daily shop floor operations and production activities.
Create and modify 3D models, shop drawings, and flat patterns using SolidWorks .
Review customer drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates based on materials, labour, machining, finishing, and production processes.
Coordinate production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Provide technical support to the production team.




Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Work closely with customers, suppliers, and the sales team regarding project requirements and pricing.
Assist with production planning, material requirements, and job scheduling.
Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry.
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks , including Sheet Metal design.
Experience preparing quotations and estimating costs for custom sheet metal fabrication projects.
Thorough understanding of laser cutting, CNC punching, press brake forming, welding, and assembly processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an asset.
AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
Employment Details Position: Full-Time

Competitive compensation based on experience.
Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
