ErinoakKids is looking for energetic Registered Practical Nurses to support children and young adults in Brampton, ON. This in office role involves working with medical complexities and behavioral needs.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct clinical care within our Respite Program. Your responsibilities will include implementing individual care plans, communicating effectively with staff, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Your ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and implement individual client care plans
• Communicate client care plans with respite staff
• Conduct assessments and respond to client needs
• Provide direct clinical care and onsite training
• Operate transfer and mobility equipment
Requirements:
• Diploma in Practical Nursing required
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience with pediatric nursing preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
