Country Grocer in Chemainus is searching for an Assistant Front End Manager to join our team! As the backbone of the department, our ideal candidate will help inspire, motivate and lead their team towards success alongside the Front End Manager. You have a minimum 2 years’ supervisory or management experience in a Front-end department

You’re available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

The Job

Reporting to the Store Manager and Front End Manager, you’ll help oversee daily operations of the Front-End department to ensure an exceptional level of customer service is maintained

You’ll hire, train,



manage and motivate a team to ensure efficiency and productivity

You’ll support daily scheduling needs and coordination

You’ll support ordering and inventory of lottery and tobacco

You’ll support with communicating to your team on performance, policies and pertinent issues

Pay for this job:
Pay: CA$23.50-CA$30.00 per hour

Starting Range: $23.50-$25.25
Most new team members start within this range, depending on their experience and skills.

Growth Range: Up to $30.00
There’s room to grow! Annual performance reviews provide opportunities to move up within this range over time.
