In this full-time role, you will join a vibrant team dedicated to supporting children living in staffed homes. Utilizing your skills in trauma-informed care and behavior management, you will implement and document Personal Service Plans while building positive relationships with families and professionals. Your efforts will enhance the well-being of youth experiencing mental health challenges in an inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for the rights and choices of youth
• Assist with daily living activities and medication management
• Develop and document Personal Service Plans
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the home
• Record daily health and activity data accurately
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education and Child and Youth Care Diploma
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Current First Aid/CPR and Food Secure certification
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written forms
• Unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s license
