This role is ideal for a procurement professional who enjoys working closely with plant operations and suppliers. You’ll source MRO materials and services, manage purchasing activities, address supplier challenges, and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality, delivery, and overall value in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.A typical day:Source and procure MRO materials, equipment, tools and services to support plant operationsCreate, process and manage purchase orders in accordance with established procurement proceduresMonitor inventory requirements and collaborate with internal teams to maintain appropriate stock levels for critical itemsOptimize supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery and serviceIdentify cost savings, supplier consolidation and value improvement opportunitiesPartner with maintenance, engineering, operations and warehouse teams to understand evolving requirementsResolve supplier delivery issues, invoice discrepancies and material quality concernsMaintain accurate supplier records, purchasing documentation and procurement data while supporting internal compliance requirementsSuccessful candidates will have:Bring 2–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within MRO,
