Surrey Place is seeking a dedicated Respite Worker within its Children & Youth Program. This relief, contract position involves facilitating specialized care for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and complex needs. You will create safe, engaging environments while implementing individual care plans and collaborating with families and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop tailored care plans for each child
• Provide direct supervision in diverse settings
• Assist with group-based and individualized respite services




• Support daily living activities, including personal care
• Encourage positive behavior and social skills growth

Requirements:
• College Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of child development and special needs education
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities preferred
• Robust communication and problem-solving skills
• Satisfactory Police Records Check required
