Orchard Terrace Care Centre is seeking a dedicated Personal Aide to join their nursing team. This role focuses on assisting residents with personal care, meals, and daily living activities. You will report to the leadership team, ensuring residents receive the attention and support they deserve in their care routines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with toileting, bathing, and dressing
• Respond promptly to resident call bells
• Provide meal support and assistance when needed
• Maintain cleanliness through light housekeeping duties
• Complete scheduled deep cleaning of suites
Requirements:
• PSW Certification preferred but not required
• Experience in Retirement or Long-Term Care preferable
• Solid communication skills with residents and families
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion
• Clear vulnerable sector screen and TB test results
