Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present anexcellent opportunity for an experienced, proactive, and independent TravellingHousekeeper to support a private lady residing in a beautiful three-storeyGeorgian property in Windsor, Berkshire. Windsor is renowned for its historiccharm, elegant architecture, and proximity to London, offering a refined yetpractical working environment. The principal divides her time among Windsor,her London flat, and Scotland during the summer months, and seeks a trustworthyprofessional with experience caring for dogs, a willingness to travel, and theconfidence to manage a household independently to a consistently high standard.

Working as a Travelling Housekeeper in a privateresidence of this nature requires a high level of organisation, initiative, andattention to detail. The successful candidate will be comfortable caring forfine surfaces such as marble and wood, managing laundry to an excellentstandard, overseeing household shopping, and coordinating contractors. Thisrole is well-suited to a pro-active and capable housekeeper who enjoysresponsibility, is confident working alone, and is flexible to travel regularlybetween properties, including accompanying the principal to Scotland during thesummer period.

This is a live-out position based in Windsor, whichbenefits from excellent transport links and is easily accessible by publictransport. However,



due to the nature of the role, running errands, and travelrequirements, a driving licence is essential, and access to a car is stronglypreferred while working in Windsor. When travelling to Scotland, a vehicle,accommodation, and all associated travel arrangements are provided by theprincipal.

During the summer months, the housekeeper willaccompany the principal to Scotland for four to five days per week.Accommodation provided in Scotland is of a high standard, allowing thehousekeeper to live comfortably while continuing to deliver excellent householdsupport in a beautiful countryside setting.

Only candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.

Maintaining the cleanliness of the house, including marble and woodenfloors, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.

Cleaning and sanitising the kitchen, including appliances, surfaces, andfloors.





Ensuring the house is well-presented and prepared for the family’sarrival or guests.

Caring for laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and organisingclothes.

Organising household items, including kitchenware, cleaning supplies,and other household essentials.

Maintaining an inventory of household supplies and ensure stock levelsare adequate.

Feeding the family’s dog and provide general oversight, ensuring thedog’s well-being.

Daily care of three cats andassisting with pet-related tasks as needed.

Managing pet routines such as walks, enrichment activities, groomingappointments, physio appointments and vet visits.

Acting as the principal’s on ‑ siterepresentative during periods of redecoration, refurbishment, or interiorupgrades.

Helping with grocery shopping and stock replenishment.

Assisting the principal with personal errands, diary coordination, andad ‑ hoc administrative tasks.

Accompanying the principal to their Scottish property for four to fivedays a week during the summer months. Ad hoc trips to the Scottish residence throughout the year.

Travelling with the principal to the London flat twice per month formaintenance and care.

Ensuring continuity of household duties during the principal’s traveland being pro-active in household management.

Requirements for this Full-Time Travelling Housekeeper job:

Three or more years of private housekeeper experience

Two excellent checkable references

Conversational English

UK working permit

Driving licence
