As a Cook, you'll prepare and reheat meals according to established guidelines and maintain high hygiene standards. A commitment to further food safety training and certifications is essential, including obtaining the Food Secure Certificate shortly after employment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals according to safety guidelines
• Interact professionally with clients and staff daily
• Escalate issues to management when necessary
• Follow infection control and food safety regulations
• Ensure food handling meets healthcare standards
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• Three years of food preparation experience
• Food Safe Certificate required within 3 months
• Willingness to obtain additional food training
• Satisfactory Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
