Superior Sany Solutions, a division of Imperial Brady Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Mississauga. The purpose of this position is to perform cash applications functions to support the organization. This individual will be responsible for applying lockbox, ACH electronic payments and credit card receipts to customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner. Researching and identifying deductions, overpayments and duplicate customer payments through system research, internal and external customer contact, will also be a main part of this role. The incumbent should hold an in-depth knowledge of cash application processes to include basic accounting principals.
Responsibilities Balance daily bank deposits with system transmissions.
Application of customer payments including checks, ACH and credit cards.
Ensure customer invoices are prepared and issued accurately.
Lead collection activities, follow up on overdue payments and handle high risk accounts.
Reconcile complex customer accounts, ledger balances and payment discrepancies.
Assist in the month-end,
quarter-end and year-end close.
Create and post journal entries and reconcile assigned accounts.
Participate in other initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications Intermediate skills with Microsoft: Excel, Word and Outlook.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability and willingness to learn and adapt to change.
High school or equivalent; post-secondary education in accounting strong asset.
2-5 years of relevant experience.
Bilingual (English and French) considered an asset.
This position has a salary range of $65,000.00 to $70,000.00.
