EastGen, a leader in genetic innovation for the dairy and beef industries, is seeking an experienced Controller. This full-time, six-month fixed-term contract role reports to the CEO and entails direct involvement in daily financial operations and reporting. You will lead a four-person accounting team and work closely with the senior leadership team and Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee full-cycle accounting and customer credit management
• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Prepare monthly financial statements and manage cash flow




• Maintain solid internal controls and optimize efficiency
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits

Requirements:
• CPA designation and university degree required
• Minimum five years' experience in a Controller role
• Familiarity with complex ERP and EAP software
• Advanced Excel skills, proficient with pivot tables
• Ability to work in Guelph office at least 3 days a week
