This role involves enforcing compliance with municipal by-laws and engaging directly with the community. As a Municipal Enforcement Officer II, you will work under the supervision of the Enforcement Operations Supervisor and interact with residents and visitors. Your responsibilities will range from conducting patrols to ensuring traffic compliance and handling dog ownership issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enforce compliance with municipal and territorial legislation
• Engage residents and visitors with skilled customer service




• Conduct patrols using a variety of transport methods
• Investigate complaints and ensure compliance
• Provide traffic control and assist other departments
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in police studies or related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience in law enforcement
• Valid NWT class 5 driver’s license
• First aid and relevant training certifications
• Ability to fulfill court responsibilities
