The Ministry of Forests is seeking a licensed Practices Forester to join its Okanagan-Columbia Business Area. This full-time role requires expertise in silviculture, timber tenure development, and forest health management. You will engage with Indigenous partners and stakeholders to support sustainable practices that benefit British Columbia's ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead operational forestry activities including road engineering
• Develop silviculture and timber tenure projects
• Collaborate on integrated resource management plans




• Foster relationships with Indigenous communities
• Ensure compliance with forestry regulations

Requirements:
• Registered Skilled Forester (RPF) designation or eligible
• Minimum two years of operational field forestry experience
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
• Willingness for fieldwork in diverse conditions
• Proven contract management experience preferred
