Reporting to the Director of Suites + Catering Hospitality, The Catering Hospitality Services Manager is a leadership position which manages all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the location. This position will lead the Catering team to execute events or catering delivery requests from introductions to final payment in line with customer expectations and service standards. The scope of this role oversees all aspects of internal and external client events which take place both event & non-event days, assists with game day planning for Brookstreet Lounge & Ice Level Bar, all Team related services for both NHL & PWHL teams, as well as backstage catering operations for concerts and other events as required.
Job Responsibilities
This role requires flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays based on event requirements
Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers’ needs
Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event order
Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs
Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
Create & distribute completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance that all requests are met prior to event
Responsible for delivering on F&B; and labor targets
Responsible for execution of catering events of wide-ranging size and scope including staffing and management
Produce, monitor and track effective revenue forecasting as per timelines, and communicate forecasts to the Director of Suites + Catering Hospitality and Unit Controller
Ensure accurate reporting of all catering related revenue, expenses, inventory and receivables within required timelines
Plan, Forecast, Schedule and budget based on required service needs
Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members
Ensure compliance with all food, occupational, and environmental safety policies
Works with management team to recognize great performance and handle corrective action where required
Actively and consistently coaches and develops the Catering team, utilizing their team strengths and helping improve within the scope of their roles
Ensures each area has created and implemented the required operating procedures, checklists, schedules, payroll and other control measures and consistently follows up to confirm compliance.
Assist with catering menu development and implementation in coordination with the Director Suites + Catering Hospitality and the Executive Chef
TRAINING:
Responsible for completing on-line training modules as required and ensuring all F&B; employees do the same. Training Includes, but not limited too;

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a high volume events, hospitality and catering preferred
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Previous experience within Aramark is an asset
Available to work event-based hours
Advanced computer skills, including experience in inventory controls (Yellow Dog Inventory System) & POS systems (Shift4 Canopy) as asset.
Must have excellent communications skills – both written & verbal
Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Valid driver’s licence and access to own vehicle required
Knowledge of French is an asset

The pay range for this position is $68,000.00 - $73,000.00.
