Join Scarborough Health Network as a full-time Locksmith, specializing in installing and maintaining lock systems across multiple hospital sites. This role requires a skilled technician to handle various locking devices and security measures.
As a Locksmith, you will report directly to the Manager of Parking & Security. This permanent position demands expertise in locks, access control systems, key cutting, and security protocol compliance. You'll also be responsible for evaluating and maintaining Master Key Systems across facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair locks, door openers, and security devices
• Maintain accurate records of locking hardware changes
• Assist with renovations regarding locking device specifications




• Monitor installation of electronic access equipment
• Ensure adequate stock of locksmith supplies is available
Requirements:
• Completion of TAOL programs 1 & 2 (8000 hours apprenticeship)
• Valid Ontario Drivers License preferred
• Proficient experience with master key systems
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Robust organizational abilities and attention to detail
