Marble Art Canada Ltd. is a well-established, family-run stone manufacturing and fabrication company in Burnaby, near Brentwood Mall. Known for the quality of our workmanship and installations, we are seeking a reliable and responsible full-time Bridge Saw Operator to join our team for long-term employment.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Duties include but are not limited to

Operating bridge saw machinery to cut and shape stone slabs according to measurements and project specifications

Reading and following technical drawings, templates, and job instructions

Measuring, marking, and inspecting stone materials before and after cutting to ensure accuracy and quality

Performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting minor operational issues

Assisting with the safe movement and organization of stone slabs in the shop

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Managing assigned tasks efficiently to meet production deadlines

Completing other duties as assigned by the foreman or manager

Experience and qualifications

A minimum of two years of experience operating a bridge saw or working in a stone fabrication shop





Experience operating CNC machinery or saws is a strong asset

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements

Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

Ability to regularly lift and handle materials weighing 50 lbs. or more

Comfort working in a noisy shop environment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with coworkers

Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

Ability to remain calm and focused under tight deadlines

A reliable, responsible approach to work and a commitment to safety and quality

Required

Steel-toed safety boots

Use of appropriate respiratory protection

Must be a Canadian resident
