The Store Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the store while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong sales performance, and full compliance with all applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, Company policies, procedures, and operational standards. The Store Supervisor provides leadership during assigned shifts, oversees store operations, supports employee development, and helps maintain a safe, secure, compliant, and customer-focused retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
Compliance Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and Company policies and procedures.

Enforce and comply with age verification, responsible retailing, product security, cash-handling, and inventory control requirements.

Provide oversight and guidance to employees during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, Company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Conduct inventory counts, audits, reconcile inventory records, verify incoming shipments, and ensure products are received, stored, and tracked in accordance with regulatory and Company requirements.

Report and elevate compliance concerns, inventory discrepancies, security incidents, or policy violations to the Store Leader.

Maintain all required certifications, training, and qualifications.

Communicate professionally and respectfully with guests, coworkers, and leadership.

Deliver a professional, knowledgeable, and guest-focused experience while leading by example.

Deliver and support other employees in providing compliant product recommendations and exceptional guest service.

Drive sales performance through coaching, motivation, product knowledge, and merchandising initiatives.





Monitor sales performance and support achievement of store performance goals.

Cash Handling & Store Operations

Perform opening and closing procedures and ensure the store is secure, compliant, and operationally ready.

Accurately process and oversee accurate transaction processing, cash handling, till reconciliations, and secure deposits.

Utilize POS and inventory management systems to support reporting, inventory control, and operational decision-making.

Maintain the security and integrity of cannabis products, inventory, cash, displays, and other Company assets.

Ensure sales, storage, and work areas remain clean, organized, professional, and compliant with Company standards.

Ensure merchandising standards are consistently maintained, with displays that are well-stocked, organized, visually appealing, and aligned with Company expectations.

Lead by example by consistently modelling skilled, respectful, ethical, and compliant behaviours, while promoting accountability and adherence to Company policies, procedures, and standards.

Report to work fit for duty, prepared to begin work at the scheduled start time.

Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

Adhere to Company dress code, grooming, and professional conduct standards.

Foster a respectful, ethical, and collaborative team workplace.

Qualifications
Required

Minimum age required by applicable legislation. 19 in the province of Saskatchewan.

Valid CannaSell certification.

Clear criminal record.

Strong customer service,



communication, and interpersonal skills.

Sound judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Ability to comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible, adaptable, and able to maintain product knowledge and work varying schedules.

Preferred

Previous cannabis retail, other retail sales or customer service experience.

Previous leadership experience.

Experience working in a regulated industry.

Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management systems.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the store.

Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise and supplies up to 25 lbs.

Ability to operate retail technology and point-of-sale systems.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks associated with retail operations.

As a member of the store leadership team, the Store Supervisor is accountable for supporting daily store operations, employee performance, inventory integrity, cash controls, regulatory compliance, and guest satisfaction. Compliance with all applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, inventory controls, security standards, and Company policies is an essential duty of this position. Failure to meet these requirements may result in discipline, up to and including termination of employment.
