Position Summary:

The treater is responsible for operation of pressure treating systems and transfer deck as required.

Responsibilities:

- Operates pressure treating systems as required, including testing, mixing, plant control operation and system monitoring
- Pressures treat lumber and poles to specifications
- Unloads chemical deliveries
- Cleaning and maintenance of treating systems, including greasing, filter cleaning / changing, cleaning tanks, door pits and plant surfaces
- Maintains daily plant checklist and reports items of concern to plant Supervisor and maintenance department as applicable.
- Operates and monitors kilns and fixation tunnel as required
- Loads and unloads lumber treating carts as required
- Maintains pressure treating carts,



greasing and removing for repair as requiredSafe and responsible operation of company equipment at all times
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
- Abides to OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act) workplace health and safety standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
