Become a key part of Kinark Child and Family Services as a full-time Psychologist in Peterborough, ON. You'll provide essential remote and in-person psychological services for children and youth with complex needs.
Reporting to the Clinical Lead for Community Mental Health, the Psychologist role requires providing both in-person and virtual services. You will deliver evidence-based treatments, conduct psychological assessments, and participate in multidisciplinary consultations. This position involves collaborating closely with other professionals to enhance treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological assessments for diagnostic purposes
• Deliver evidence-based treatment and monitor progress
• Provide consultation for complex clinical cases
• Offer training and education to team members
• Manage documentation and attend agency meetings
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology
• Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Robust skills in child and adolescent mental health
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to anti-oppression, equity, and inclusion
