This role encompasses both Intermediate and Senior Electrical Designers who will be part of a Product Engineering Team at one of MacLean's facilities. You will lead design initiatives, focusing on compliance, safety, and system integration for heavy mobile equipment. Expect hands-on experience working alongside fellow engineers to push boundaries and innovate solutions in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership for DC, AC, and PLC systems
• Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior designers
• Manage design projects from concept to production
• Identify risks and drive cross-team solutions
• Review and approve designs ensuring production readiness
Requirements:
• Engineering Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution
• Preferred 5+ years in heavy equipment design
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Competency in manufacturing processes
• Strong communication skills, multi-language is aplus
