Rodney's is looking for a hands-on Junior Sous Chef who takes pride in their cooking, works well under pressure, and knows how to support a team through a busy service.

This is an prospect for an experienced cook ready to step into kitchen leadership or a junior sous chef looking to build their skills and take on more responsibility.

The role

Working closely with the Executive Chef & Sous Chef, you will:

- Help lead daily prep and service, keeping the kitchen organized and ready.
- Cook confidently across stations and maintain consistent quality, portions, and presentation.
- Support and train cooks through clear communication and leading by example.
- Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory, stock rotation, and waste control.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and equipment care.
- Work with the front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly.

- Solid cooking fundamentals and an eye for detail.
- Previous experience leading a station or supporting a kitchen team.
