$25.31 to $27.49 per hour-per hour, collective agreement under negotiation

Intent of the process

Conditions of employment

Security clearance: Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Enhanced Reliability Status Possession of and ability to maintain a valid Canadian Driver’s Licence equivalent to a Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s licence

Operational Requirements

Possession of a valid Canadian Driver’s License equivalent to a Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s License Willing and able to be available to be on standby, to work shift work and to work overtime on short notice Willing and able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), in accordance with safety rules Willing and able to travel via commercial or government transportation services when required Willing and able to work outside in varying weather conditions,



including extreme heat and cold Willing and able to work in uncomfortable positions and spaces, stand for prolonged periods, and to work in high places, such as ladders, scaffolds and/or lift trucks Willing and able to attend all training as required Willing and able to stand, climb, walk, lift (22.5kgs), carry (22.5kgs), bend, pull and push, reach and crouch in hot and cold environments for extended periods

You need (essential for the job)

Your application must clearly explain how you meet the following

Experience performing general labour, facility maintenance, construction support, or other physically demanding work environments Experience using hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner Experience working with basic computer applications such as Internet or email or word processing software

Applied / assessed at a later date

Knowledge of safe work practices related to general labour and maintenance activities Knowledge of methods and principles of general building maintenance related to a general labour role Communications Thinking Things Through Showing Initiative and Being Action-Oriented Working Effectively with Others Demonstrating Integrity and Respect

Language requirements (essential for the job)

May be applied / assessed at a later date

Possess or working towards the following operating licenses from TSASK; 5th Class Power Engineer & Refrigeration Engineer or Limited Fireman & Refrigeration Operator

Experience providing general labour or building maintenance services within an institutional setting Experience working with or apprenticing in any of the journeyman trades

Preference
