This role is responsible for managing complex litigation matters, providing strategic legal analysis, and supporting clients through all stages of the litigation process. The ideal candidate brings strong advocacy skills, sound legal judgment, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage a broad range of litigation files from initial assessment through resolutionConduct legal research and provide strategic advice on litigation mattersDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, and other legal documentsPrepare for and attend discoveries, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trialsRepresent clients in court and other dispute resolution proceedings, as applicableDevelop case strategies, assess risk, and provide practical recommendationsReview evidence, witness statements, and expert materials to support case preparationCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders on litigation strategy and file managementSupport business development and client relationship activities as appropriateMentor junior lawyers, clerks, or support staff as applicableQualifications:Law degree and membership in good standing with the applicable provincial barProgressive litigation experience in a law firm or legal services environmentStrong knowledge of civil procedure, litigation strategy, and dispute resolution processesExcellent legal research, drafting, negotiation,
