office is seeking to hire
Executive Director
for our
Private Enterprise Core Services
Team.
What you will do
Lead and Manage Compilation of Financial Statement Engagements, Review Engagements and Tax Compliance
Engagements including corporate, personal, partnership and trust returns for private clients;
Play an integral role in building the practice through business development effort and developing our people
Participate as a member of the leadership group to assist in implementing the business plan.
Identify and analyze client needs and provide comprehensive solutions and advice;
Counsel, train, and mentor Enterprise staff in the areas of career development, core and industry specific.
Provide oversight and guidance on complex accounting, and tax matters.
Support engagement teams in delivering high-quality client service while maintaining compliance with professional standards and firm policies.
What you bring to the role
7+ years of experience in a public practice accounting environment, including extensive exposure to private
enterprise clients, Compilation and Review Engagements, and tax compliance services.
Must have a Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent
Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business to develop and maintain strong client relationships
Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities is derived from your dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service
Proven background of building a client base and adding revenue
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, are a strong team player and have meticulous attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and demonstrate strong leadership qualities
Strong mentoring and performance management skills
KPMG BC Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $175,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
