WSP is seeking a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist to take charge in advancing complex infrastructure initiatives across Ontario. This role involves leading environmental permitting and approvals strategies while guiding teams through regulatory processes. Your expertise will be essential to meeting sustainability goals and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders and Indigenous communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead permitting strategies for multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects
• Provide strategic regulatory advice to clients and teams
• Identify and manage permitting risks and compliance
• Oversee acquisition of environmental permits and licenses
• Act as liaison with regulators and stakeholders during approvals
Requirements:
• 10+ years in environmental permitting in Ontario
• Expertise in provincial and federal environmental legislation
• Proven success in major infrastructure delivery
• Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant fields
