Lead risk modelling initiatives with Canada Guaranty, ensuring the success of our mortgage insurance operations. We're looking for a seasoned professional to develop and implement quantitative models to guide growth and mitigate risk.
This managerial role reports to the VP of Risk Modelling, Analytics, and Reporting. You'll develop credit scoring and portfolio management models while supporting stress testing and loss management strategies. Collaborating with data and actuarial teams, your insights will help shape decision-making at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop industry-leading adjudication models for risk assessment
• Maintain key financial and stress testing models
• Evaluate credit bureau data to enhance models




• Communicate analytical findings to executives succinctly
• Execute special projects and wide-ranging analytical duties
Requirements:
• 4+ years of risk management experience in banking or insurance
• 2+ years in predictive or financial modelling
• Proficient in SAS and SQL; Python or R is a plus
• Strong data analysis skills with large datasets
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to executives
