Our client, Purolator, is seeking a Sorter/Truck Parker to join their team
Job Title: Sorter/Truck Parker
Location: Richmond, BC
Shift: 20 hours/week - Saturday 2pm to 6pm, Sunday to Wednesday 5pm to 9pm
Pay Rate: $23.63/hour
What's the Job?
- Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
- Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
- Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
- Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
- Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
- Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.
- Parking of Purolator Vehicles
- Other duties as assigned
What's Needed?
- Must have a valid Class 5 B.C. license
- Must have no more than four (4) points on a valid Class 5 B.C. drivers license (abstract required)
- Must successfully pass the Defensive Driving course
