Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across various settings, including construction sites and industrial facilities
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup
- Support low voltage electrical work such as alarm systems, data cabling, and communication lines
- Conduct basic inspections of electrical components to identify issues or potential hazards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working setting at all times
Experience
- No prior professional experience required; however, familiarity with hand tools, power tools, or construction environments is a plus
- Strong interest in electrical work or related technical fields
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints is advantageous but training will be provided
- Basic understanding of electrical theory or coursework in related areas is beneficial
