? Compensation: $150K–$180K + Equity/Stock Options

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the core engineering team and help build the financial infrastructure powering high-volume, mission-critical transactions .

Must Haves:

- 8+ years of backend engineering experience
- 3 + years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial technology
- Robust experience with Node.js/NestJS, TypeScript & PostgreSQL
- Experience with ledger systems, double-entry bookkeeping, or financial data modeling




- Proven experience scaling backend systems handling high transaction volumes
- Experience with GCP — Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run
- Experience integrating financial/payment APIs
- Familiarity with PCI DSS, SOC 2 , or similar regulatory frameworks

Nice to Have

- Terraform / infrastructure automation
- Real-time payments or instant settlement experience
- Open banking / financial data aggregation
- Experience in a high-growth fintech environment
