Job Summary

Balcony Grill is looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This position is responsible for keeping dishes, cookware, utensils, and the dishwashing area clean and organized throughout service.

This is a fast-paced, physically active position. The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, able to work efficiently during busy periods, and comfortable with evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, kitchen tools, and other restaurant equipment
- Keep the dishwashing station and surrounding work areas clean and organized
- Return clean dishes and kitchen items to their proper storage areas
- Take out garbage, recycling, and food waste as required
- Collect and organize refundable beverage bottles and cans
- Clean floors and other assigned kitchen areas as needed
- Follow proper sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with basic cleaning and kitchen support duties when required
- Work efficiently with kitchen staff during busy service periods

Requirements

- Reliable, punctual, and responsible




- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical work
- Able to lift and carry moderate loads
- Comfortable working around water, food waste, grease, and cleaning products
- Available for evening and weekend shifts
- Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required

Additional Benefit The dishwasher may collect designated refundable beverage bottles and cans from the restaurant. 100% of the Bottle Depot refund proceeds from these designated containers belong to the employee. The restaurant does not take a share.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 48.0 per week
