Position Summary
The Event Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing all events to ensure exceptional guest experience and seamless operations. Acting as a key support to the Hospitality Director and in alignment with the Sales and Event Manager, this individual oversees event logistics, coordinates internal departments, schedules event staff, and is present at all events to ensure successful execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality workplace.

Event Planning &
- Coordination
- Manage all event details from handover from the Sales and Events Manager and through event completion.
- Develop event timelines, room layouts, setup requirements, and operational plans.
- Coordinate all event requirements with Food &
- Beverage, Culinary, Banquets, Facilities, and Guest Services teams.
- Work with the Sales &
- Events Manager to assist with planning meetings and site walkthroughs as required.
- Ensure all event information is accurately communicated to operational departments.
Event Operations
- Be present at all events to oversee execution and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Act as the on-site lead during events and serve as the primary contact for staff and vendors.
- Monitor event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure standards are met.
- Address and resolve operational issues, guest concerns, and last-minute changes professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction throughout each event.
Staffing &
- Leadership
- Schedule event and banquet staff according to business needs and event requirements.
- Coordinate staffing levels in collaboration with department managers.
- Conduct pre-event meetings and communicate expectations,
timelines, and service standards.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to staff before, during, and after events.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to hospitality standards.
- Assist with hiring, training and onboarding of event team members.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate event records, timelines, and operational documentation.
- Manage event calendars and scheduling requirements.
- Complete the necessary documentation including Special Event Permits &
- DOC60’s
- Order and manage inventory of all beverage products along with bar and service requirements.
- Prepare event summaries and operational reports as required.
- Ensure departmental deadlines and event preparation milestones are achieved.
- Participate in department meetings and operational planning sessions.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in event management, hospitality, banquet operations, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
