Position Summary The Head Coach works with the Studio Manager and owner to ensure members enjoy a consistent F45 experience. The ideal Head Coach is passionate about athletics and embodies our mission of delivering the world's best workout to the community.

The Head Coach must be able to drive member retention and satisfaction, develop a strong team of coaches, contribute to membership growth, and be the primary resource for all things athletics within the F45 studio.

Must be available during some early mornings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Member Experience

- Coach a minimum of 12-15 F45 classes per week, consistently delivering sessions that meet F45 coaching standards and brand expectations
- Create an engaging, motivating, and inclusive environment for all members.
- Ensure all members receive excellent customer service before, during, and after every class
- Build strong relationships with members to increase engagement, retention, and referrals
- Provide modifications and progressions to accommodate all fitness levels.
- Conduct studio tours and membership consultations in coordination with the Studio Manager
- Follow up and nurture trial members, new members and drop in. Follow up to book their next classes

Studio Operations

- Oversee daily studio operations to ensure smooth and efficient business performance

This includes but is not limited to: -- Maintaining office, personal hygiene, towel and cleaning supply stocked, clean and in good working condition

-- Maintaining training floors, bathrooms, showers, main entrance, reception area and the studio overall cleaned and organized

-- Service equipment (TVs, speakers, lights, bikes, etc)

-- Monitor inventory of merchandise (retail, Lionheart, etc)

-- Ensure all staff wear the proper uniform and follow brand standard

- Set-up equipment for next day's work out if working the last class of the day
- Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and presentation before, during and after the class
- Ensure equipment is clean, safe, and functioning properly. Performed periodic proactive maintenance
- Always maintain compliance with F45 operating standards and safety procedures
- Prepare weekly/ monthly operational reports for management as required
- Assist with the planning, execution and follow up of F45 Challenges
- Help manage labour costs within budget
- Recommend operational improvements to increase profitability and efficiency

Human Resources & Team Leadership

- Assist with current employee onboarding as required
- Train coaches on F45 programming, coaching techniques, member engagement, customer service, and studio standards
- Source, lead or recommend specialty workshops for coaches’ development
- Monitor that the schedule is complete and all classes/shifts are covered
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and professionalism
- Provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and professional development




- Ensure all coaches maintain required certifications and complete assign coaching courses
- Establish clear performance expectations in coordination with the Studio Manager and ownership
- Recognize outstanding performance and address performance concerns promptly
- Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture
- Represent the studio at community events and networking opportunities as required
- Assist Studio Manager in highlighting members achievement, milestone and engagement through social media content

Qualifications

- Personal Training Certification, Group Fitness or equivalent recognized certification/ education (required)
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required)
- Previous management or leadership experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, or a service- based business (preferred)
- Experience using CRM systems (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping people achieve their goals

Job Structure & Schedule

- Job Type: Salaried
- Expected hours: 30 to 40 hrs per week between coaching session and admin hours
- Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation per calendar year.
- Pay rate: Based on experience, availability and performance. Starting at $45,000 yr.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
