Hours: Approximately 2–3 hours per day or 4 hours on Mon/Wed/Fri
Wills Transfer Limited is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Facility Cleaner to support our Ingleside facility.
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and professional work environment throughout our office and warehouse areas. In addition to general cleaning duties, this role will play an important part in helping our facility maintain the sanitation and housekeeping standards required under our SQF food safety program.
What You’ll Do
- Perform general cleaning of office areas, lunchrooms, washrooms and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean floors as required
- Empty garbage and recycling and maintain waste disposal areas
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
- Replenish washroom and cleaning supplies
- Complete routine cleaning throughout designated warehouse areas
- Help maintain warehouse housekeeping and sanitation standards in accordance with SQF requirements
- Complete assigned cleaning schedules and documentation as required
- Identify and report sanitation, maintenance or safety concerns
- Follow all company health and safety, food safety and sanitation procedures
- Other related cleaning duties as required
What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is:
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Thorough and takes pride in keeping a facility clean and organized
- Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
- Able to follow established cleaning procedures and schedules
- Safety-conscious and attentive to detail
- Able to perform physical cleaning duties, including standing, bending, reaching and lifting cleaning supplies
- Previous commercial, industrial or warehouse cleaning experience is an asset
- Experience working in a food, warehousing or SQF-regulated environment would be an asset, but is not required
Hours This is a part time position of approximately 2–3 hours per day. The exact schedule can be discussed with the successful candidate.
