Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Labourer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support construction, maintenance, or production activities. This position requires physical stamina and a willingness to work in various environments, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks on the job site.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals effectively.
- Perform heavy lifting of construction materials and equipment
- Operate and maneuver a wheelbarrow to transport materials around site
- Assist with digging, trenching, and other ground preparation tasks
- Conduct construction site cleanup, including debris removal and organization of tools and materials
- Load and unload materials and supplies from trucks
- Follow all health and safety regulations on-site
- Support skilled tradespeople as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools as needed for various tasks.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.




- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition by cleaning and performing minor repairs.

Skills

- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction techniques or labor practices is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and work well within a team environment.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
- Willingness to learn current skills and adapt to changing job requirements.

Working Conditions:

- Outdoor construction sites in various weather conditions
- Standing, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- May require early mornings or extended hours depending on project needs

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour
