Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House Guelph is looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable Host/Hostess to join our team.
This is a great part-time position for someone who enjoys working with people and can thrive in a busy, fast-paced breakfast restaurant. Strong weekend availability is required.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant
- Manage the waitlist and seat guests efficiently
- Help maintain a smooth flow of tables during busy breakfast and brunch rushes
- Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries
- Assist with takeout and delivery orders when required
- Clear, clean and reset tables
- Keep the entrance, waiting area and dining room clean and organized
- Support servers and other team members during busy periods
- Help ensure every guest receives friendly and efficient service
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable speaking with guests
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Able to stay organized and calm during busy weekend rushes
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Willing to help wherever needed
- Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is an asset, but not required

Availability
Weekend availability is required, particularly Saturdays and Sundays.
Additional weekday shifts may be available depending on business needs and your availability.
Because we are a breakfast and lunch restaurant, candidates should be comfortable working early mornings and daytime shifts.
