Position Overview

Estate Interiors Inc. is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Custom Millwork & Architectural Installer to join our site operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting, assembling, and installing high-end custom architectural millwork, commercial fixtures, wall paneling, and bespoke cabinetry across residential and commercial job sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Key ResponsibilitiesField Installation & Execution

- Install custom millwork assemblies, kitchen cabinets, commercial kitchenettes, wall paneling, perimeter trims, and architectural metal/glass integration.
- Read, interpret, and execute detailed architectural shop drawings, floor plans, elevations, and section details.
- Perform precise field measurements, scribing, cutting, miter jointing, and hardware adjustments on-site to adapt to job-site variations (plumb, level, and drywall irregularities).
- Mount cleats, sub-structures, hardware mechanisms, and integrated lighting components cleanly and securely.
- Willing to do General Labour, cabinet assembly, etc in the factory when not on field installation tasks.

Job Site Management & Safety
- Conduct pre-installation site walk-throughs to verify site readiness, floor levelness, wall conditions, and mechanical rough-ins.
- Adhere strictly to Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations, including Working at Heights and site head protection standards.
- Protect installed work and surrounding property using appropriate floor runners, corner guards, and dust containment methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

Logistics & Client Communication




- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload finished millwork components and shop materials from transit vehicles to installation locations.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, General Contractors, and internal shop production teams.
- Complete daily site logs, installation sign-offs, and track punch-list/deficiency items for prompt resolution.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience installing high-end custom millwork, kitchens, architectural woodwork, or commercial cabinetry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency operating standard job-site power tools (miter saws, track saws, routers, block planes, laser levels).
- In-depth knowledge of hardware systems (concealed hinges, undermount slides, wall suspension systems, pocket doors).
- Exceptional scribing and fine finish carpentry skills.
- Certifications:
- Valid Ontario Working at Heights certification.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (DZ license or experience driving medium-duty delivery trucks is an asset).
- WHMIS and site safety awareness.
- Attributes: Strong problem-solving ability, sharp attention to detail, punctual, and capable of working independently or leading a small installation crew.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy millwork panels and cabinetry (up to 75 lbs) with assistance.
- Bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods on active construction sites.
- Travel across GTA construction and commercial project sites daily.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
