You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting a variety of products according to detailed instructions.

This is a full-time position in our Oakville facility. Our assembly area is clean, bright, and spacious with high ceilings.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):

- Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
- Test units and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary
- Place and retrieve inventory from warehouse shelves
- Ability to modify gearbox units to meet order requirements
- Ability to competently use a variety of measuring tools (micrometers, bore gauges, height gauge, etc.).
- Quality oriented
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices
- Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
- Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 Years of mechanical assembly experience
- Must be able to read blueprints/layout drawings/assembly drawings
- Experience with measuring tools; Calipers, height gauge, inside/outside Mic’s bore gauge




- Experience setting bearing clearance, gear contact and backlash
- Experience in large gearbox assembly an asset
- Ability to lift 50lbs
