The Position
We are seeking a dependable and organized Receiver / Material Handler to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and distributing materials and supplies throughout our manufacturing facility.
This role is essential to ensuring efficient workflow and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Role Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy, quality, and damage.
- Unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material-handling equipment.
- Label, organize, and store materials in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
- Deliver materials to production departments as required.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate with carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct at the direction of your supervisor, inventory cycle counts.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, material handling, or manufacturing environments.
- Valid forklift license and experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory records.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in architectural millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, or construction-related industries is considered an asset.
- Willing and able to work additional hours when needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $24.50-$31.00 per hour
