We’re seeking a talented Mechanical Designer to join our client's dynamic engineering team!

In this role, you’ll work alongside Mechanical Design Leads and cross-functional teams to engineer high-impact solutions, meet key project milestones, and support an entrepreneurial, vision-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical & Design Execution:

- 3D CAD & Drafting: Produce working drawings, detail drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Engineering Analysis: Perform calculations for material strength, speeds, force, temperature, and pressure to ensure optimal tool and machine designs.
- Compliance & Standards: Analyze designs for compliance with industry standards (e.g., OSHA, CE) and review drawings for material selection, machining techniques, finishes, and hardness.
- Hands-on Problem Solving: Reverse engineer components using precision measurement tools and collaborate directly with fabricators, machinists, toolmakers, and electricians to bring designs to life.
- Component Integration: Utilize working knowledge of machine shop techniques,



pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical devices (switches, load cells, LVDTs).

Project Execution & Teamwork:

- Communicate progress, design updates, and documentation cleanly across departments.
- Work closely with vendors for technical specifications and assist with customer documentation.
- Ensure scheduled milestones are met while maintaining high ethical, safety, and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

- Education: University Degree or College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Automation Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Software Proficiency: Solid background in SolidWorks (or equivalent 3D CAD) and AutoCAD.
- Industry Experience: Experience in mechanical design within an automation or custom machinery environment.
- Bonus Assets: Experience with custom tooling for the nuclear industry, or working knowledge of ISO 9001 , N299 , and NQA-1 quality standards.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to vendor/supplier locations (typically under 15%).
