NDT Trainee, working with our Level II Technicians, looking to obtain CGSB Certifications.
The successful candidate will focus heavily on job site safety, exceeding client expectations. and upholding company (and client) policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Key Accountabilities Include:
- Assist in inspections, follow directions as per requirements.
- Maintain a safe, secure and healthy workplace by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations.
- Perform all duties as assigned and adhere to client’s requests.
Physical Job Demand:
- Ability to lift and carry 55 pounds
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Obtain confined space training.
- Obtain working @ heights training.
- Obtain TDG training.
- Obtain WHMIS 2015.
- Obtain M.E.W.P.
- Radiation Safety.
- Ability to work in Microsoft Word.
- Ability to work with computers / computerized equipment.
- Ability to read, understand,
and communicate in English.
- Travel requirement to work on site.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Candidates will need to submit a valid driver’s license, 3 year driving abstract.
- Clean Criminal Records Check.
