Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Microsoft Fabric + Power BI Developer to join our growing Data and Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions, analytical models, and interactive business intelligence dashboards using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and technical teams to transform complex data into meaningful insights and reliable reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based analytics solutions.

This position provides an opportunity to work with contemporary Microsoft data technologies and contribute to enterprise-level analytics, reporting, and data transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions based on business and operational requirements.
- Build and manage data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Notebooks, and OneLake.
- Develop efficient semantic models and datasets using appropriate data modeling techniques, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and business metrics to support reporting and analytical requirements.
- Develop and optimize Power Query (M) transformations for data cleansing, integration, and preparation.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations supporting reporting and analytics.
- Integrate data from sources such as Azure SQL, SQL Server, APIs, Excel, SharePoint,



cloud storage, and enterprise applications.
- Configure and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), workspace permissions, and data access controls.
- Optimize Power BI reports, semantic models, SQL queries, and Fabric workloads to improve performance and scalability.
- Implement incremental refresh, DirectQuery, Import, and Direct Lake solutions based on application and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective data models, dashboards, and reports.
- Support data quality, governance, lineage, documentation, and monitoring across Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environments.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Maintain source control using Git/Azure DevOps and support CI/CD processes for Power BI and Microsoft Fabric solutions.
- Troubleshoot data, refresh, performance, gateway, and reporting issues across development, testing, and production environments.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Fabric Developer, Power BI Developer, BI Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Data Factory, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks.




- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.
- Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling, including fact tables, dimension tables, star schemas, relationships, and semantic models.
- Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data from multiple enterprise data sources.
- Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Delta Lake, Parquet, Lakehouse architecture, and modern data platform concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL is an asset.
- Familiarity with Python and PySpark for data transformation and analytics within Microsoft Fabric notebooks is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Power BI security, including Row-Level Security (RLS), workspace permissions, and data governance.
- Experience optimizing Power BI datasets, DAX calculations, data models, and reports for performance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, data governance, lineage, and data quality practices is an advantage.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment pipelines for managing analytics solutions across environments.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
