Our team works collaboratively with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality electrical engineering solutions. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Vancouver team and take a leadership role in the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering projects.

Role

We are seeking a energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and coordinate the electrical engineering scope for building projects of varying complexity.
- Manage projects throughout all phases, including conceptual design, detailed design, construction documentation, permitting, construction, and closeout.
- Design, review, and specify building electrical systems, including: Power distribution, Lighting and lighting controls, Fire alarm systems, Communications systems, Security systems and other LV systems
- Prepare, review, and revise electrical drawings,



packages, reports, specifications, and other technical documentation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Lead coordination and project meetings with clients, internal teams, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and field reviews.
- Review and oversee work prepared by junior engineers and designers to confirm compliance with applicable codes, standards, company procedures, and sound engineering practices.
- Lead and mentor junior and intermediate electrical designers, providing technical guidance, work coordination, and oversight of deliverables
- Support business development activities, including the preparation of proposals and responses to project opportunities

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the electrical engineering and building engineering sectors
- Demonstrated experience in electrical engineering for building projects.
- Experience managing projects through multiple phases of design and construction.
- Robust technical knowledge of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and security systems.
- P.Eng designation is an asset
- PMP designation is an asset
- RCDD designation is an asset
- Strong project management skills, including schedule, budget, scope, and client management.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exercise sound professional judgment while working independently and collaboratively within a project team.
