Position Summary- SAP Workplace & Cutover Release Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, governing, and executing environment management, release management, cutover activities, dress rehearsals, and production deployment readiness for the SAP S/4HANA transformation program. Single point of accountability for ensuring environments, releases, transports, deployment activities, and cutover tasks are aligned across business, IT, system integrators, and testing teams to enable a seamless and low-risk go-live.

Roles & Responsibilities-

•Environment Management

•Define and govern environment strategy across all SAP landscapes (DEV, QA, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod).

•Ensure environment availability and readiness for testing and deployments.

•Manage environment refreshes, data provisioning, and configuration synchronization.

•Coordinate with technical teams to resolve environment-related issues.

•Maintain environment schedules and usage planning across workstreams.

•Release Management

•Establish and govern release management processes and deployment controls.





•Manage transport migrations and release deployments across environments.

•Govern release scope, readiness, and implementation schedules.

•Ensure compliance with change management and quality standards.

•Track release risks, dependencies, and production deployment approvals.

•Cutover Planning & Governance

•Develop and manage the overall cutover strategy and master cutover plan.

•Coordinate cutover activities across business and technology teams.

•Define cutover runbooks, task sequencing, checkpoints, and escalation paths.

•Monitor cutover risks, dependencies, and milestone completion.

•Lead readiness reviews and deployment governance decisions.

•Production Readiness

•Plan and execute cutover simulations and dress rehearsals.

•Validate timelines, resource readiness, rollback plans, and deployment procedures.

•Ensure business, technical, and support teams are prepared for go-live.

•Conduct production readiness assessments and stage-gate reviews.

•Validate completion of all pre-go-live readiness activities.
