Balcony Grill is looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Restaurant Server to join our front-of-house team.

This is primarily an evening position. Shifts typically start around 4:30 PM and end around 10:30 PM on weekdays and 11:30 PM on weekends.

We are looking for someone who communicates well with guests and coworkers, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and provides attentive and professional service during busy dinner hours.

Base wage starts at $15/hour, plus tips. Total hourly earnings are typically around $19–23/hour, depending on shifts and business volume.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant POS system
- Explain menu items and answer guest questions clearly
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately
- Check on guests during their meal and respond to requests promptly
- Process cash and card payments accurately
- Clear, clean, and reset tables between guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and other front-of-house team members
- Assist with opening, closing, and assigned side duties
- Work efficiently during busy dinner and weekend service





Qualifications

- Previous restaurant serving experience is preferred
- Strong spoken English is required for communicating with guests
- Mandarin Chinese is an asset
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling payments
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be available for evening shifts starting around 4:30 PM
- Weekday shifts typically end around 10:30 PM
- Weekend shifts may run until around 11:30 PM
- Weekend availability is required
- Must work well as part of a team
