DIGITAL ARCHITECT – SENIOR | JP1022

Two-Year Contract | Edmonton, Alberta | Onsite 5 Days per Week

VStream Labs Inc. is seeking a Senior Digital Architect for a two-year enterprise digital-transformation project.

ENGAGEMENT

- Onsite in Edmonton, five days per week.
- 8:15 AM–4:30 PM MT; 7.25 hours per day, 36.25 hours per week.
- Enhanced Security Clearance and background/criminal record checks required.
- Equipment provided; privacy and security awareness training required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead enterprise and solution architecture across business, application, data, integration, security and technology domains.
- Develop current- and target-state roadmaps, standards, patterns, guardrails, reusable components and architecture decision records.
- Assess feasibility, operational readiness, risks, dependencies and architectural trade-offs; support architecture governance and Architecture Review Board reviews.
- Lead and mentor technical teams; review designs, implementations, integrations, deployments and configurations.
- Support cloud, DevOps, automation, CI/CD and environment management.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discovery; document requirements, process models, user stories, impact assessments and delivery plans.
- Provide architecture oversight for Application Management Services; support incident/problem reviews, change advisory processes, releases and production readiness.
- Reduce technical debt and improve reliability; transition applications into sustainable support operations.
- Evaluate vendor deliverables, proposals and estimates; support procurement, statements of work, knowledge transfer and compliance assessments.
- Define architecture for analytics, data integration,



reporting and AI-enabled services, with secure AI adoption and data governance.
- Produce architecture diagrams, executive briefings and recommendations; promote reuse, standardization and modernization.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

- College or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- TOGAF certification.
- 8+ years leading cross-functional agile product teams, providing architectural direction and mentoring developers/technical leads.
- 5+ years architecting, managing and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
- 8+ years assessing requirements across business, application, technology, data/information, security and privacy architecture domains.
- 7+ years documenting application architectures in large, complex enterprise IT environments.
- 7+ years planning, designing, implementing and supporting enterprise platform solutions.
- 8+ years providing leadership, planning, estimating and presenting solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years collaborating with data architects, engineers and analysts on cloud architecture.
- 5+ years developing application architecture standards and guidelines.
- 5+ years designing or maintaining solutions using enterprise Master Data Management hub architecture registries.
- 5+ years developing enterprise solutions using amCharts.
- 5+ years developing enterprise mobile solutions.
- 5+ years working with OWASP Top Ten Web Application Security Flaws.
